Fear is totally normal. Remember: no one in the audience wants you to fail—they appreciate real, human moments. Take deep breaths, don’t try to “block” the fear; channel that energy into passion and presence. The more nerves beforehand, the more amazing you’ll feel after.
100%! We’ll use your genuine passions to connect with the audience, then refine the structure so your message is crystal clear—balancing logic and emotion for maximum impact.
Include sincere, specific “thank yous” as if you’re speaking 1-on-1—pause after each so it lands. Avoid humor that isn’t true to you. Choose real stories over made-up jokes; authenticity > forced laughs.
Tell stories—facts alone can get dry, fast. Add dialogue to bring stories alive, and plan the emotional “rollercoaster” of your speech. If you want the audience to feel curious, excited, safe, or victorious—speak with that feeling and they’ll mirror it.
Absolutely. Your ceremony or event should reflect who you are. I take pride in crafting experiences that match your personality, stay true to your values, and are customized exactly as you wish.

For speaking engagements more than 4 hours’ drive from St. Paul, MN, some travel costs may apply. These are always included in your quoted price (not added afterward). In some cases, groups choose to cover travel directly (e.g., through discounted hotel arrangements). I’m flexible and happy to work out whatever option works best for you.

I am a legally ordained minister (Universal Life Church) in Minnesota. With proper notice, I can also obtain the necessary legal credentials to officiate weddings in other states.
People reciprocate energy—engage them with your presence, not just your words. If the crowd feels distant, try breaking them into small groups for discussion, which makes speaking less intimidating. Also, embrace silence; sometimes giving people time to think sparks deeper responses.
Being animated should feel natural—it enhances emotional appeal when authentic. Act out scenarios to physically engage your audience, and let your emotions show through gestures, expression, and tone. Genuine passion always connects better than forced theatrics.
Introverts often excel by choosing words carefully, making their message concise and impactful. Think about how you want your audience to feel before writing, and even color code your outline for emotional tones. Remember: not everyone prefers extroverted styles—engage those who resonate with your authenticity.
Step 1: Stay calm—tech issues happen to everyone. Step 2: Use light humor to ease tension. Step 3: Have a backup like screenshots or printed visuals. Step 4: If needed, continue without visuals. A strong verbal delivery can carry the message.
